The Christian Apostolic  Church has been in Coshocton for over forty years.  It began through the  outreach ministry of The Christian Apostolic Church in Newark, Ohio.  It has  become somewhat of a landmark in Coshocton County and has seen many changes take  place on both the inside and outside.

However, we believe that  we have entered a new and exciting era.  God has been blessing and we are seeing  souls in our country stirred to a desire to find the God of their youth.  The  Spirit truly is being poured out in these last days and we are seeing this in  many areas.  Backsliders are making their way back home to God.  Young people  are looking for absolutes in a world that doesn't know right from wrong,  searching for truth.  Families are tired of trying to keep up with the world and  all of the dysfunction that goes with its sinful lifestyle.  God is working in  these last days to do truly amazing and miraculous things in the lives of  people, regardless of race, background, and income or education level. Truly  God is calling "Whosoever Will" in these last days of revival.

 Leadership

Our Senior Pastor, Wilbur  White and his wife, Linda, came to Coshocton, Ohio in 1984.   It was no  coincidence that God called them to this area, as the Lord had been cultivating  this seed for many years.  Pastor White's abilities as a teacher and leader have  helped bring the church to where it is today.  He oversaw a tremendous building  project, along with using his wisdom to help us
acquire nearby lots for our  fellowship hall and parking.  The White's have served in every capacity  throughout the years - from cleaning to teaching, from witnessing to praying  folks through to the Holy Ghost.  They have worn each and every hat at one time  or another in the years that they have served.  We are so thankful and  appreciative to the White's for their labor of love throughout these many  years.  Pastor and Sister White have three adult children:   Tracy (Gimpel),  Stephanie (Dillingham) and Matthew Glen.

Our Pastor, Chris Gimpel  and his wife, Tracy, came to Coshocton in 1985.  After meeting at Apostolic  Bible Institute, getting married and serving for a short time in Nebraska, they  came to help the White's in Coshocton.  Pastor Gimpel's ability to preach with  great anointing and his burden for outreach have brought our church to the next  level.  Pastor Gimpel also currently serves as the Ohio District  Secretary/Treasurer of the Home Missions Division.  Pastor Gimpel has great  aspirations for what God will continue to do through His will and Spirit here at The Christian Apostolic Church.  The Gimpel's have three children:   Nathan (engaged to Caitlin Powell - both in law school in Chicago) and Jonathan, and Melinda Jane.

There is one God who has  manifested Himself in three ways - as Father, Son, & Holy Ghost - and His  Name is Jesus!

The Bible is the  infallible Word of God
which contains all truth and will never perish.

Everyone has sinned and  needs salvation.  "There is none righteous, no not one."

We must obey the gospel  through repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ  (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost (resurrection) according to Peter's message in Acts 2:38-39.

We believe it is God's  will for us to live a separated life.  This means living a holy life and dressing in a  holy fashion every day.  Our holiness is not our salvation, but is the result of a consecrated, dedicated  life.

Jesus Christ is coming  again to catch His bride (the Church) away.   It is our desire to be ready when  He comes and take as many people as we can with us!

The righteous will  inherit eternal life!
